About Sarah

I am a reporter and Report for America corps member based in Northern Virginia covering agriculture, schools, courts, politics, land use, data centers,
small towns and county government in Fauquier County, Virginia, at the Fauquier Times.

I graduated from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and the School of Information Studies at Syracuse University in May 2023
with a dual degree in newspaper and online journalism and information management and technology with a concentration in data analytics.

Following graduation, I moved from New York to Chattanooga, Tennesssee, where I spent two years at the Chattanooga Times Free Press and covered both local and state politics.

In July 2025, I left Chattanooga and moved to work as a rural beat reporter at the Fauquier Times.
